"This case reminds me of the Pelletier case except the child got away." This and other comments from readers prompted a comparison of the cases by Write Into Action, and the similarities are staggering. In both cases, the State inexplicably desired to seize an innocent child from the custodial parent based upon very shaky claims of 'psychological abuse or neglect'. Alec Hash, 17, fled the state of Florida and became emancipated by a Georgia judge to avoid being seized by the State. The State of Florida refuses to remove him from the national database and he has been in hiding over 300 days. Dr. Mark Hash, Alec's father, has been jailed sevral times by a judge in her effort to make Alec Hash return to Florida.
